I know I'm not the only one who feels down sometimes... We've all had those days, weeks, and some even months & years. I came to firstly let you know that you are not alone. I know that sometimes in those moments you feel like no one knows or even understands what you are going through. Not only does God know and understand how you feel but He is also right there with you.
Sometimes you can't even put a finger on what has got you down. You just feel so empty, useless, de-motivated & lost. I know that feeling all too well. One day you are fine, everything is good, the next day you are in this weird funk, you don't know why you are feeling this way, all you know is that you are feeling low.
Inasmuch as feeling like this is valid, and you are allowed to feel like this, you're not allowed to stay in this place. That place is not your home. It is not your identity! You MUST GET BACK UP!! You cannot stay there forever. In fact, you cannot stay there for too long!! If you overstay you're welcome, it becomes sooo much harder to get back up. SO today, get back up. It doesn't matter how long you've been down, right now, at this very moment make the choice to get up.
Getting back up is a choice. You decide to get back up. No one can make that decision for you.
REFLECTION:
Get some time and write down some affirmations, promises God has made to us from the bible. i.e- "I will never leave you nor forsake you", "I am confident hee who started a god work will bring it completion". In those moments you start to feel yourself entering a funk, or when you are in that place, declare these affirmations and promises to yourself till you believe them! There is so much power in your tongue and it is about time we start to exercise that power.
